travel europe germany lower saxony luneburg architecture of luneburg

I can think of no place on earth I have visited that has the wealth of brick architecture as Luneburg, Germany.
Brugge, Belgium and Lubeck, Germany are also nice, but they don't have the beautiful variety of detail I saw here.
In additon to brick, there are beautiful examples of half-timber "fachwerk" accented by beautiful flower boxes...
